Ingredients:
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 medium zucchini, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup pesto sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish optional
Instructions:
Turn on the oven and heat it up to 400F 200C
Put some flour on a surface and roll out the puff pastry sheet
Spread the pesto sauce out evenly on the sheet of pastry, leaving a little space around the edges
Spread the zucchini slices out over the pesto sauce
Add shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the zucchini slices
Put some olive oil on top of the tart and add salt and pepper to taste
After the oven is hot, bake the pastry for 20 to 25 minutes, or until it is golden brown and crispy
Take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit before cutting it
If you want, you can add fresh basil leaves as a garnish
Enjoy while still warm!
