Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 8 slices of bacon, cooked crispy
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced red onions
- 1/4 cup sliced pickled jalapeos
- 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup guacamole
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for grilling
Instructions:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat
In a bowl, mix the ground beef with chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties
Brush the patties with a little vegetable oil to prevent sticking and place them on the grill
Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer if you prefer your burgers more well-done
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt
While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill until they are golden brown
Assemble the burgers by placing a cooked patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of each bun
Top each burger with 2 slices of crispy bacon, diced tomatoes, diced red onions, pickled jalapeos, shredded lettuce, and a dollop of guacamole and sour cream
Finally, place the top half of the bun on the toppings to complete the burger
Serve hot and enjoy your Tex Mex Bacon Cheese Burger!
